One particularly interesting event coming up at the Centre in the coming month is the Energy Saving Day being staged by the Household Energy Service on March 17th from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free and more details can be found on the event poster here.
By Friday night six stallholders had phoned or texted to say they couldn't make today's market, most but not all put off by the weather forecast predicting all kinds of travel horrors. With a few early morning rearrangements the hall was made to look less bare than might otherwise have been the case. In the end there was a reasonably good turnout, the sun shone outside and many market-goers showed interest in an unusual addition to the market, a "healing corner" provided by Gillian and Louis of Field House Osteopathy and Healing, Kinnerton. The next market will be on Feb 25th, the weather will be spring-like and there will be a full complement of stalls loaded with produce and crafts. And TVEG will have its annual seed swap. See you there.
