The snow is all but gone at time of writing but for a few days last week activities had to be cancelled at the Community Centre - and the town looked magical! We did wonder whether the final market before Christmas would have to be cancelled too but in the end the snow had largely gone by Saturday and the market was a packed and lively event with carols from the 40-strong Llanfair Singers. Only a few more activities this week and then the centre falls silent for a few days. Immediately after New Year's Day the flooring contractors move in and sand down and reseal the hall floor as well as laying bright new vinyl around the sides of the hall. Then before we know it there'll bne a new season of Flicks-in-the-Sticks, the Borderlines Film Festival, the annual Teme Spirits dramatic production and more keeping us busy...
